Shallow(ish) league - drop Rust, Bjorkstrand, or Hoffman for Toffoli? (will rep!)

Hey sports fans, Toffoli is obviously a hot stick right now, and he's still available via FA in my league. I'm wondering if you'd drop any of Rust, Bjorkstrand, Hoffman or Toffoli for him? (Team 2 in sig)

League scoring: G = 2pts, A = 2pts, +/- = 0.5pts, PIM = 0.25pts

I don't think I would. Toffoli is certainly hot right now but his usage/icetime is only slightly above average and Montreal spreads the time and PP around pretty liberally. He will come back down to earth.

If you were set on it I think Hoffman might be considered.

I would just hold tight though myself.

Yeah that's kinda what I was thinking. I feel like Hoffman is eventually going to see an uptick as he settles in and gets his legs too.

As a longtime Toffoli owner, we were always wondering what he'd do if he got out of LA and was put in a better situation. He goes to Vancouver and is a pt/gm in 10 games and has now continued on that pace in Montreal. I don't think he'll be a point/game player long-term but 60-65 points for the next couple seasons feels about right. All of those players are pretty close for me. It wouldn't take much for me to drop Rust for him.

It’s more of a Canucks (defense) sucks thing + exCanuck immediately producing against them when seeing them again...it’s a known thing/meme in Canuck nation and I felt stupid not picking up Toffoli myself when I realized we were facing the Habs before puck drop the other day lol

Came here to say this. Rust went PPG last season, and he didn't even get hot until he got into the top 6 like halfway through the season

Rust is criminally underrated. Do not drop him.
