I imagine this gig simply pays more haha
Shocked by this one. He's leaving for Citytv's Breakfast TV! Said he wasn't fired but

One day I will quit fantasy hockey, today is not that day.
I saw this this morning and was surprised myself. Hard to say if it was really his choice or not but I do agree that this is probably a better paying gig. I cant imagine it's a demotion because he's quite popular in the sports community in Canada with the show and their podcast so I have to assume this was a choice he was making for himself. Who knows. I guess Tim Macallif will continue to host the show with rotating guest hosts for now. I assume, kind of like Kelly Ripa, they will eventually settle on their Ryan Seacrest, so to say, and settle in with a new full time host for Tim & ?
I always like Sid. He wasn't afraid to be the arse on the show when it was needed. Some times his rants went a little over the top, but that's usually up my alley anyway.

I don't know much about the show but maybe it's as simple as Sid wants to spend evenings with his family?
Sports while prominent is still a niche product. Let's generously call Sid a medium sized fish in a small pond, I have little doubt being a small fish in the much bigger pond of morning tv probably pays more and opens the door to have better opportunities in the future.

I will definitely miss his humour and rants on Tim & Sid. I'm not sure how well he'll work on BT, but I'm sure he's got other dimensions than the ranting lol...

His first run on BT this morning. He was a little tight and it felt a little odd. I will miss him on T and S. He was the glue that binds. I'll give Tim some time to impress, but I don't think I'll be an avid viewer as I once was.
A very first - an image of his wife is shown on this video. He stressed last night that the move coincides with his passion for news/events other than sports and wants to stretch his wings. He was not fired and I'm not certain it was for more money.
Hockey Pools? Too many to mention. Points only, salary cap and dynasty.
Well good for him. Been watching him for as long as I can remember
I wish the old version of ''the score'' was still a thing .
