    Default Drop Zucker for Hayes?

    Multicat salary cap

Were only allowed 6 free agent moves all year

Is this a FA worth making?

    I think so

    Lemme know your thoughts

    Thanks

Hayes is averaging 18:40 TOI. His shooting percentage (10 SOG so far) is 20%! His career average is 12-13%. His PDO is 113.5 - yikes.

Zucker is averaging 16:30 TOI. His shooting percentage (9 SOG so far) is 0. His career average is 12-13%. His PDO is 90.1.

I would not waste 1 of 6 moves on a player who will end up the same or probably worse at the end of the season.

I would hold onto Zucker as not enough of a difference to make a change. With only 6 moves you will likely need to replace injured players by year end, and those moves will likely be much more impactful.

What about couture? He would eat up a lot of my cap space I have..

    Thanks again

Couture's numbers right now are almost exactly where Hayes' are. Career wise they are very similar to both Hayes and Zucker. Again, at this early stage I would not waste a precious roster move on this swap.

you're splitting hairs between these three players.
Zucker should have dual wing eligibility which makes him more valuable than hayes or Couture. - both are overpriced Centres.
Save your roster moves and cap space for when you glaringly need something.
