I agree. Fantasy hockey is in large part a boxscore-watching game. Still, as fans it's hard not to draft your favorites sometimes and value guys you are a fan of more than they deserve. Judging by this thread, the opposite is apparently also true. Both approaches can bite you later for playing favorites. After last year, DeAngelo is probably in the top-20 range for fantasy d-men. Dobber's got him at 15 for keeper leagues. That means in a draft in a 10-team league, he's likely a fantasy team's top or top-2 defenseman. Treat him as such and don't throw him away.

I guess the big question is whether Adam Fox winds up with the inside track on the PP. He is doing decently on there thus far with 3 PPP in 3 games. NYR has options, and as other people mentioned, Tony has some weaknesses defensively. If he loses his role on PP1, he probably won't contribute as much. Worth monitoring, but again, not worth dropping after 3 games.

@Axeman33, go ahead and lock it bud. After your recommendation to discuss this “crap” in the political section of the forum, I meandered over there to find you and your buddies VERY active in disrespecting and belittling people with conservative views. Watch out, your bias is showing.

As I said, this is the fantasy hockey section. My political views have nothing to do with what the OP asked. Clearly you can't differentiate or follow directions. This will be the last time I politely ask you to keep this thread on track. It was really shouldn't be that hard.

@Axeman33, that’s very interesting. I don’t recall anything “polite” about any of your rhetoric thus far. “Following directions” from you after you’ve shown nothing but alienation and disrespect towards me? No thanks. I’m sure there’s another thread you could be policing for opinions that don’t align with yours.

Given the cap hit plus locker room issue. I doubt he'll be picked up tomorrow.

I will be dropping him in one league (in sig) as he's just there because he's a high-scoring Ranger defenseman, and I think that is over. I can just grab Miller or the like to cover my need for a second Ranger D.

On a multi-cat roto dynasty team I took over this year, he's on the roster, but reserve space is thin, so I think he's getting cut.
