Horvat vs Boeser vs Monahan

Who do you like in a points only format of these 3 ?

They're ranked pretty close in Dobber's rankings.

Have the opportunity to trade for one, who's the best target ?

ID say Boeser has the opportunity to get the most points. But he’s had problems staying healthy and the entire Nucks team aren’t really clicking atm. I have some other concerns about Boeser in regard to his actual potential. But I’d say he’s high risk, high reward right now.

Then Monahan. Looks terrific so far. Excellent teammates too.

Horvat last, but Horvat might be the safest... That’s debatable I guess. But if I wanted to take the least risk, I think Horvat.

But they are very close and depending on small, and unfortunately unknowable variables. This one could go in any order any given year. Also, the short season might help Boeser. Lesschance to get injured at least. But then even a moderate length injury could derail season.

Monahan is your best bet of these three in a points only. Boeser has the injury history and inconsistency issues. Horvat is rounding into a nice two way center and is the #2 guy in Vancouver.
Monahan should have a good bounce back compared to last year's anomalous production. And he's clearly the #1 C in Calgary and on the top PP.

I like Monahan the most out of the bunch. These guys are fairly close but I think Horvat has the least upside here. Boeser is just a smidge below Monahan for me, due to injury concerns and the fact we've already seen Monahan's 70-80+ upside.

How do you all feel about Monahan now vs your assessments in Jan?

I was looking at his advanced stats on Dobber and his shooting % is way lower than normal, PDO slightly higher than expected, and pts/60 & 5 on 5 shooting % are normal.

I'm thinking he'd be an upgrade in my lineup, but just curious what people think.
