Default Justin Holl, Anything to see?

Has been terrific first few games. Statistically at least. Especially bangers. If he got any PP time at all, would likely be pushing him up a tier or two.

So, is there any chance he gets PP time if he continues to be this productive? Playing almost 22 mpg, does he retain these minutes possibly making him fantasy relevant with or without PP in bangers and multicat? Is there anything to see here? His rookie numbers were not bad at all for a 27/28 year old rookie.

Know absolutely zero about this guy. He’s still available in some leagues so was curious if we have a legit deep sleeper here.

    Thanks

It's an anomaly. I would be more surprised to see him running a PP unit than I would to see him scratched the rest of the year.

yeah he wont have PP time but he does have 2nd paring deployment so in deep leagues he maybe worth a try..specially if you can stream him from the farm as im doing in few leagues. Expect little and take waht he gives you...if you expect assist a game you will be dissapointed

Makes sense. And yea, 18 teams, deep rosters and some NA in my leagues so guys like this still hold some value. Thanks for the assessment. Might be a decent 7th or 8th Dman in deep banger leagues if that’s the case. But sounds like that’s the ceiling at best.

Leaf fan so I see him play alot. He's a top 4 guy but will see zero PP time. He's on an offensive team but this pace won't continue. Over an 82 game season I could see 20 points, plus rating, and about a shot, hit and block per game. For 2 mil in deep leagues he's a decent bottom option but not much more

Terrific assessment, thanks. He almost looks good enough to get some PP time on some teams, just not the Leafs. Yea, that’s not a bad guy to keep an eye on come playoff time in some deeper leagues.

In a deep enough league, he's useful to very useful, particularly with daily starts.

He's a minutes muncher right now for the Leafs. He seems to be very open to blocking shots, he's hitting more, he seems to be stepping up in the "nasty" department. I think as his confidence grows, he'll shoot a bit more.

But as production wise with points, and PPP, nah. But hits/blocks, and in a deep league, you can do a lot worse.

he's the Chris Tanev of the Maple Leafs. Rielly, Brodie, Muzzin and soon to be Lehtonen are all ahead of him for PP time.

He's going to add a few points just due to the amount of goals Tor. scores (3 of his 4apples are primary apples)

But if you're in a MC pool that counts PIM, H, BLK esp. one as deep as yours - 20 teams - he's a worthwhile add. He's also $2m/yr so any deep cap leagues might think about him for his periphs as well.

Weegar & Matt Roy would be similar players with higher offensive upsides and more SOG, but also on more GM radars.

I'd hold until you notice someone better emerge

Yea I ended up taking a flyer on Mario Ferraro. He will at least see some PP mins and has actual upside. Seems like he'll get some hits and blocks as well. Thanks for all the responses on this one!
