    Default Hedman dynasty trade

In complete rebuild mode for an aging dynasty team and need some young guys in the pipeline. I want to sell Hedman to a win now team.

How’s this? Asking for too much?

Hedman for Necas OR Keller OR Chytil + seth jarvis + 2021 3rd round pick.

A, Blk, FOW, G, Hit, PPP, SOG, SHP

    It depends.
If it is a cap league, then yeah... Hedman & his cap numbers are a lot... and a return of 2 young prospects & a draft pick is reasonable.
I think you should be able to get a tad more.

If it's NOT a cap league, then you should be getting a LOT more.

    Welcome to the forums!!!

Totally agree with Pengwin7. You should be getting a lot more in MOST leagues actually. Cap leagues one of the only situations I think that deal COULD be acceptable. ALL though I would still try for more and maybe do that as a last resort. But again, that's only in Cap league.

Please help with mine, thanks! : https://forums.dobbersports.com/show...91#post2101091

    Welcome to the forum.

Honestly, I'd want more even in a cap league.

Thanks all for the welcomes and input. Not a cap league.

I really wish I could get a 1st but the team who's willing to deal only has 3rds and later.

Other team is now offering Necas + Chytil + Haydn Fleury for Hedman. Think I'm going to counter with Necas + Chytil + Veini Vehvilainen + 2021 3rd. Should I swap out Vehvilainen for Jarvis? I need to build up my minor goalies and with Necas I'll have a solid young forward even without Jarvis

Please walk away from this deal. This is just my opinion, but even your counter is not close to enough for Hedman. Hedman is a top tier fantasy asset and still fairly young for a defenseman. Have you let the league know he’s available? I would guess you would receive multiple offers.

Yeah I wasn't going to take that first deal. Thanks for the heads up, I guess I must be severely undervaluing Hedman in my mind. I have let people know but I'm in a pretty deep league so all the major assets are spread out over the league and no one wants to give up the stars they have. No one's offer has really sparked my interest. I'll see who else might bite or just wait until later in the season to trade him to a leading team.

None of these deals is enough. I’d want more. Necas is a start but Chytil and Jarvis wont cut it. Keller and Necas is much better start.

Since you’re in a rebuild another option could be to wait it out till later in the season. Teams will start to get a sense of if they think it’s their year and dangling Hedman then might net you a better return from someone who sees him as the final piece to make their championship push.

And I agree with the others, the deals you’ve outlined are selling way too low on Hedman.

the deals are not even close IMO, and with a name like hedman, there has to be more than one suitor for him, a bidding war should ensue

Thanks all for the advice. I've decided to wait for the season to progress and see where everyone stands in a month or so. I've played fantasy for many years but this is my first deep dynasty so want to make sure I get it right.
