I need a rookie with huge upside in hits and blocks that nobody else is looking at. Preferably a defensemen but possibly a winger. Any ideas? ( 200 plus hits 100 blocks potential)

Hes not young but Tanev is intriguing. Im playing him and he's rated inside top 50 in my league settings. Could have 300 hits and a block a game.

You must want some offensive ability to go with it.

I picked up Mario Ferraro in a few leagues recently. All though I am not sure how high his upside is. Seems like a possible PP2 QB. His HIT/BLK are decent. Combined though, he could make for a valuable asset.

Oliver-Joseph? Not sure how much time he will get. But he's a big guy, looks to have good foot speed. Maybe more of a point producer than banger. All though I think he will get good hit/blk numbers.

Dante Fabbro perhaps. All though he hasn't shown much yet. His ability is greater than his current production.

Clague. Definitely more of an offensive player. Probably modest hit/blk when he matures.

Soderstrom one of the more well rounded, but also a bigger name. Probably more attention on him than some others.

Zboril on Boston might be one of the best options. Seems to be totally under the radar. Former high first round pick who was supposed to be more of a defensive defenseman coming into the league. But he seems to have more offensive ability that previously though. Or at least than I previously thought. He's actually getting some PP time and he could be a big hitter. He might have some of the highest total upside when considering G/A/HIT/BLK. And since he was drafted some years ago, few are paying attention.

Logan Stanley, a beast of a man. Former first rounder. Seems to still be a bit clumsy, but he might still be growing into his frame. Opinions are all over the place with him. He is somewhat seen as a failed prospect as he hasn't advanced as much as many ad hoped. But a lot of that might have to do with his size. Bigger players sometimes take longer to figure things out and mature into their body and learn how to use their body. Plus, agility can be an issue early on.

Out of all these, right now, I would probably pick Soderstrom if possible. But if not, Oliver-Joseph, then Zboril, then Ferraro, Fabbro, Stanley, Clague in that order. But I would check each out. My order could be completely off lol.

Just to clarify, you are looking for someone who will help out this season and beyond? So no NA/AHL/Jr players who aren't playing yet? There's definitely more of those around heh.

This is the name that I was thinking when I read the post.

He is averaging 3 hits and 1.8 blocks per game this season - In 18 minutes of ice time. The last two games he has been over 20 minutes.

The best part is that he is plus 5 on a Ducks team that has only scored 11 goals and given up 14.

So he looks to be reliable if his ice time has increased to 20 minutes a night.

Forgot about Juolevi. Not sure how much attention he is getting. Mikey Anderson too , on LA might be an option. I am guessing KAndre Miller is not an option? He would be my first choice if available.

Assuming you want a player that can put up some points too: For a d-man: Romanov. Forward: Kunin.
