Four is too much. If you have the stones I'd drop Gibson. You either have both CBJ or neither.
Hey all,
I'm looking for a little advice on who to drop. I am currently carrying 4 goalies but I am not sure that's the right move. I need a slot for streamers, and right now I'm feeling a little handcuffed.
Our league has 60 adds for the season which means that I can add players every week, essentially. It's a 1-year 12 team H2H (weekly roster set) with the following categories: G, A, +/-, PPP, SHP, PIM, SOG, W, SV%, GAA, saves. We start 1C, 1RW, 1LW, 1F, 4D, 5Util, 2G.
My team is:
C - Eichel
RW - Guentzel
LW - P Kane
F - Zibanejad
D - E Karlsson, Barrie, Ekblad, Ellis
Util - Konecny, Bjorkstrand, E Lindholm, J Anderson, Buchnevich
Bench - Drouin, Gusev
G - Korpi, Merzlikins, Markstrom, Gibson
IR/NA - Kapanen, Ehlers
My first move for next week, I think, is dropping Gusev to play Ehlers. I would appreciate any thoughts, especially relating to G.
Thanks! Will rep.

With saves in a 12 team league I don't think 4 is too many at all, especially when 2 are from the same team. I'd drop Gusev before a goalie.
I agree - keep the goalies you have.
12 team Yahoo Roto keeper (keep 3)
9 F, 6 D; roster 3 G max
G,A,PPP,SOG,BLKS,HITS - W,SO,SV%,Saves
F: B Tkachuk, Stutzle, Eriksson Ek, Necas, Konecny, Cooley, Boldy, Lehkonen, Tippett
D: Dahlin, Seider, Matheson, Durzi, Addison, Mintyukov
G: Hill, Husso
IR:
Bench: L Hughes, Merzlikins, Terry, Tuch
Thanks all. I'm comfortable dropping Gusev to get Ehlers off the IR+ which I think makes my team overall better.
I would still love to find a streaming spot somehow, but I guess there will be injuries/COVID-related issues in no time and more shuffling will happen. I do like the idea of having flexibility in starting goalies, to try and avoid some teams in particularly difficult weeks and also trying to maximize the volume stats.
