Should I do it?
I have been offered Rielly, Price, and a 2nd round pick for Ellis, Samsonov, and my 1st round pick. League in sig.
Ellis is a solid d-man, but I think Rielly is primed for a bounce back year. I also really like Samsonov, and was planning to have my goalie tandem for the foreseeable future. But with Shesterkin in net for the future, Price would provide some "security" in the near term.
For context, I am probably not a favourite to win this year, but I should be in the top third of the league. Ideally positioned to win next year and/or the following year. The other team will likely finish in the bottom third of the league. So in a 12 team draft, the difference between his second round pick, and my first round pick, will likely only be 6 picks, give or take.
