Trading Kucherov
Hello! I'm in a 10 team standard dynasty keeper league here...
I've been offered Yamamoto, Seguin (recovering from surgery untill at least mid March), and a 1st round pick (projected to be the middle of a 10 team round) for Nikita Kucherov (done for the season).
I'm stuck. Give up an elite top 5 guy in Kucherov for two very nice players and a good pick. Kucherov doesn't help this season obviously. But it will drastically reshape my team and the league in the process... Is this a fair offer? Who wins?

In a 12 man league where we start 9F, 5D, 1 skater and 2 G daily. It is a H2H league - we keep 2 players but if kept in consecutive season, the draft position is subtracted 5 rounds (17th rounder to 12th rounder).

Trade Kucherov for the win, yes. Trade Kucherov for this package, no. Seguin is not gonna help you this season, the first is not going to help you this season, and Yamamoto is just OK.

If you trade an elite player, you need to get an elite player back or a package that includes a future elite player/+. But you're not in a rebuild...if your going for the win and Kuch is hurting you, maybe a lower tier elite player might be worth it.

If you trade Kucherov, it is to go all in right now. An injured player like Seguin does not help you achieve that. Far from it.
For what it's worth, I would wait closer to the trade deadline to part with Kucherov. (If you try to win it all this year, that is.) Many more teams will be out of contention and will start looking at next year, therefore offering better packages.

If you're thinking of moving Kucherov, I would make it public and see what kind of bids come in. If you don't like any, keep him. But I find it hard to believe you won't get better offers than what you have show here. I wouldn't even consider this package.

If Seguin was coming back next week, then it'd be fine. However there isn't enough help right now to do this, as others have said.
Either shop him now or wait a bit. I'd be likely to wait and see how much you actually need the help.
