I'd go Romanov... It's already questionable if Andersson will keep PP1 over Valimaki
Romanov is the heir apparent to an underwhelming petry/weber on the back end.

Actually, Andersson has a clearer path to produce since he's already manning PP1 in Calgary.
Yesterday against Winnipeg, he had the most ice time in the team and played a very solid game.
As good as Romanov is, Petry and Weber are not getting the top PP tomorrow morning.
Points-only keeper league. 12 teams. Keep any 12 players. Dress 12F - 6D - 2G.

Agree, Rasmus Andersson for this season (but watch out for Valimaki in future years). Romanov long term is a solid bet. He is playing with confidence and is already the lone defenseman on PP2.Originally Posted by rufio.85

Well the definitive statement in the original post is "need them to perform this year". Romanov has played, what, 1 NHL game? This is clear to me, Rasmus is the better option this year, likely next year, and then we'll see. Both Romanov and Valamaki have some developing to do IMO. Andersson is well ahead of both on the development curve and the fact that he's running PP1 NOW speaks volumes to how successful that development has been. Not saying Romanov or Valamaki won't be there, but it sure won't be this year IMO.
