Howdy folks! Happy new season.
Wondering which side you'd prefer for a rebuilding team (16 teams) probably looking at the 2023 season as when I'll come out swinging
York & Kaliyev OR Vilardi (which one)

I think the risk for vilardi is lower for approximatly the same upside!

I'd trade York and Kaliyev for Soderstrom and Quinn.
I think York has a harder time finding his way in Philly than Soderstrom does finding his way in Arizona. Both Quinn and Kaliyev are quality forward prospects so I see them as a bit of a push. It's the D that sells this trade for me.

I agree with this take. Specifically, the Flyers have a solid number of young defenders and prospects and the GM likes making dumb moves to bring in/keep underwhelming D like Justin Braun.
It's not that I don't like York, but Quinn seems to have more immediacy, and I think York has less than the D you'd be getting.
