Hellebuyck's value?

Hey everyone, Happy First Day of Hockey!

12-team H2H standards cats + Hits, I'm looking to sell Hellebuyck before the season starts and just wondering what his value is going into the season. There was a writer on here that said if he could move him for a top-10 skater he would, but I don't know if that's possible. People (at least in my league) seem to be all over the place on goalie strategy this season.

So my question is, what kind of forward or D should I be targeting if I were to sell Hellebuyck? I also own Jarry & Gibson -- so barring injuries my G's should see a LOT of starts. Looking to move on from Helle to help bolster the offense a bit.

Helly will be 1 of maybe 4 goalies who will get 45 starts. And I wouldn't be surprised if Helly gets pushed to 45-50 starts as Winnipeg tries to sneak into the playoffs down the stretch.

In a 1yr league, I think Vas, Helly, and 1 surprise goalie will be the only 3 with 40+ starts meaning they'll be top options this yr.

I don't think you'll be able to get equivalent value in a trade for Helly though.

Thanks, yeah I expect he's going to be top-3 in starts but I am a little worried about his peripherals in the North considering the competition and WPG's defense.

I suppose his value is what other people would be worth trading him for, but I'm just trying to get in the ballpark of what kind of skaters people would be aiming for with him, whether anyone bites or not.

I also have Jarry who is less proven but I expect to see carry the bulk of the load as well, again against mostly tough competition.

If I can't move him then I will just roll with all 3 for the time being while some situations start to shake out after the games get going.

Welp, I was able to move him for Marchand. Hopefully it pays off!

Really banking on Jarry taking a step forward and Marchand being able to continue to produce.

Marchand should be a PPG though. Interesting trade, should be fun to see who wins it at the end of the yr.

I may come to regret it. With my luck Hellebuyck will be the first B2B Vezzy winner since Brodeur!

I'm not so much banking on Jarry to becoming a bonafide #1, but I'm planning on hawking FA for spot-starts with all the B2Bs this year or grabbing backups that can take over the crease due to injury/fatigue.

I suspect it's far more likely for a hidden gem to emerge in the FA goalie pool this season than any skater who can produce with the big dogs. I'm still looking at guys like Ullmark, Rinne, Sorokin, Raanta, Husso sitting out there now so I'll just try to be vigilant and use my moves wisely!
