Jack Hugues vs Kevin Labanc to start the year

Who do you think will get the best start this year?

Points only.

That's a league where we couldn't do daily ou weekly rosters move, so I'll get stuck with my choice for the first 15 GP before make a change.

Labanc is going to be top line with Couturier and Meier to start the year. Hughes is playing with Palmieri, and in his second year so he'll have a better season.
But to start I'd take Labanc and see how it goes. HSee if he gets a running start, has more NHL experience.

Labanc - but doubt that you will go wrong either way and see both having similar starts (within a few points of each other).

Hughes.

14lbs heavier. he did all the right things in the summer. He took his exit interview and went ape-shit on it. one interview he stated "I treated eating like a job."

This kid gets it on every level. Elite drive to become great to go along with elite talent.

John Leonard has been getting time with Meier & Hertl. I'm not convinced Labanc gets top line nod.

Hughes is already with or above Hischier on NJ depth charts. Take the high ceiling. in a 1yr league there will be aplenty on the waiver wire to dip into
