^Yeah... that's the betting agency trying to take more money on Laf/Shesty to even out their distribution.
It shows they're overloaded on smart-money Kaprizov weight right now.
They'd be in trouble if hockey was a major sport.

And the only reason Laf is still the lowest number is because dummies often think it's fair/wise to throw money on the favoured horse.

I’m not a big gambler...usually put a few bucks down on Montreal to win the cup every year but that’s it. I wish I had taken a shot on Romanov for fun this year. Where is the best place to get into some of these bets online? I’m in the US.

I believe it depends what state you're in. More are starting to allow it but the majority don't.

    Dark horse: Lankinen.
I can't promise I'll try but I'll try to try.

I feel like right now this is going to come down to Kaprizov, Stutzle or Lankinen.

Kaprizov has played significantly less, but Stutzle is heating up here.

Kaprizov is nearly ppg at 15 pts in 16 games. i wish he would shoot more though. if he clears 50 pts in 56 games its likely his even if kankinen puts up 25 wins.

Gah I don't know if that would do it. Especially if Minnesota doesn't even play 56 games! With no clear runaway rookie scorer it could turn into a Jack Adams type win for Lankinen. Goalie gets bad / not expected to be good team into playoffs and takes home the award.

Kaprizov is definitely at the top of the list right now given his already stated performance this far...

A name I haven’t seen thrown around at all much yet is Ty Smith who has 10 pts in 15 games now. He had a slow restart after the Covid layoff but remember he also only started getting PP1 deployment after about 5-6 games into the season. He had 2 A the other night for his first points since the break and he’s now scoring at 55 point pace right now in a full season - impressive for a rookie defenseman

Kaprizov has better stats , thats for sure but if you watch them both play...Sutzle look like so much a better player already and he is 5 years younger....i think if gap is significant they will give it to Kaprizov..but best rookie in NHL is Sutzle right now...also Lankinen if you would give it to a goalie..

I think that, barring injury to Kaprizov, the only other guy who has a shot at this point in Lankinen, and Chicago needs to make the playoffs. I'm thoroughly convinced Lankinen is a finalist, though, as long as he doesn't completely crap the bed.
