I play in a league where we have 8 keepers and 5 farm slots. Players can remain there until they hit the following games played (F175, D225, G150)
Generally it's needed to have a player pop within the first few NHL seasons as if they do not develop into a keeper by the above maximum games they are likely to be tossed back. With such a strong draft year I am planning to let go of at least 2 of these players and maybe all 3. Do any of Steel, Kyrou or Robertson have 65+ point potential in the next few years?
I see all three of them getting to around 50-55 in the next couple years. Similar stages of their careers right now with different ceilings but that projection is more than likely what you’ll get from them.
