I would go Necas. Not a fan of Gusev.
Hi all,
My keeper league has the categories G A +/- PPP SOG HIT & BLK.
I'm down to my last keeper decision, which is between Gusev & Necas.
Thanks!

I would go Necas. Not a fan of Gusev.
31 TEAMS keep all multi-cat (lot of them) dynasty
Offensive stats : Goals, Assist , PPP, PPTOI, SOG...
Defensive stats : PKTOI, BLKS, TakeAway, Giveaway...
(basically best NHL player)
I'd go with Gusev in a limited keeper. I am a big fan of Necas, and I think he will be a good player in time, but today, Gusev is the better option for me.

Gusev for me. I think the floor is higher, the ceiling might be a bit higher too but that's debatable - though the fact that Gusev is in his prime while Necas is a few years away from his ceiling is certainly a factor.

Agree with majority....Gusev
Another one for Gusev.
Thanks everyone, appreciate it.

What a few months changes eh?
Necas Necas Necas.
I have no idea what is happening to Gusev. How the heck could he start the year the same way again... again....!
A very frustrating player right now, indeed.
Last season, he started with 7 points in 16 games before really taking off... he's at 4 points in 14 games as of now.
Will he repeat the same pattern? I'm tempted to give him a few more games to wake up.
Back to the OP: Necas' trajectory is pointing straight up! Carolina has a dominant young offensive core for years to come.
Points-only keeper league. 12 teams. Keep any 12 players. Dress 12F - 6D - 2G.
I dropped him... after having drafted Vrana and Bjorkstrand, I have so many other bench options that in a shortened season, I couldn't wait on him to pick it up again. His usage is worrisome too.

Im seeing this thread for the first time and before I read AgentZeroS comment I didnt realize that the OP post is two months ago hah. Necas would have been my guy back then, Necas to the end!
