Svech is 5G in 7gp I think too.

This is the time to bet on guys with the GP difference throughout the league. But, we were all discounting Ovi last yr, then he came out of nowhere and scored 22g in his final 22 games.

Matthews is looking like the very solid pick to this point.

He's beasting it right now. There's a reason he was one of the Favourites and he's not disappointing.

Still with the games missed by a lot of American teams, it's still up in the air. No surprise tho the top 7 of 8 goal scorers are from Canadian teams.

Keep in mind, Matthews always starts hot before cooling down.

Last year, he had seven goals in his first seven games, and 13 goals in his first 17 games, Then 34 in his last 53.

In 2018-19, he had 10 goals in his first six games and 16 in his first 16. Then 21 in his last 52.

What about 2017-18? He had 12 goals in his 17 games, then 22 in his next 45.

My conclusion is that players aren't going to keep a goal per game pace over 82 games haha. Being able to put together those stretches is what makes Matthews so elite.

34goals in 53 games is still a 52goal/82game pace. Which wins 5 of the last 7 yrs.

Man, the scoring ability Matthews has where 34goals in 53games is cooled off.

These odds have been taken off the board on the site that I use. I assume it's because of the discrepancy in number of games played.

He looks really good out there and may come close but I’ll take the under on that. I believe he missed a game this year already too.

Some people are still within reach of Matthews (38games left).

    Matthews - 16g/38games left
    Ehlers - 10g/40games left
    Pavelski - 9g/44games left

But Matthews is running away with it. Pavelski would need to score a hatty to really close the gap, but 7g in 6games is not something Pavelski is known to do typically.
