Yahoo - Max Games Played - 65?

Im beyond disappointed that this hasnt been fixed yet. The season starts tomorrow.

Yahoo is so bad with this sort of thing. It really is a huge issue for roto leagues and I can't thinks that hard to add another option to that drop down. Asinine.

We had our GM tell our league that we'll lower it down to 56 when we're able to.. so our GM's are drafting based on the expected max games played.
But I'm assuming we'd be able to change it mid-season once they provide the 56 game option... hopefully that is possible.

With Covid I have to expect even Yahoo might have lost some developer resources.
It just seems like such a trivial thing to add a new option for max games played... but of course it needs to be tested, documented, deployed, all that good stuff.

That's my concern. They add the option and when you select it tells you "you league has already drafted. This option may not be changed after your league draft." GFY Yahoo.

Ya this is really frustrating, hopefully it gets changed, I guess this is what we get for free...

As the commish of a salary cap league we are going to stick to the 56 games per position and keep track of this using the games played. This will have to be the responsibility of each GM to make sure they don't go over, but also me as I will watch out for this as we get near the end of the season. It also means that you can't use the yahoo games loophole. If you only have played 55 games before the final day of games of the season, you can only play one guy as opposed to as many as you want as long as you have a game remaining.

Lol now Yahoo's system is giving goalies a shutout when the games start.

They were really not prepared for the start of the season

Part of the stat tracking issue may be with NHL.com (part of the issue). It is still a bit erratic.

However, not having the option of 56 GP in unforgivable. I co-commish a one-year league and we will be looking elsewhere next year.

Yahoo uses rotowire or another third party for stats so it would be them. Indeed I dont know who in the chain is to blame, but there are just a very large number of errors. Some of them are really mind bogglingly obvious too.

My friends and I have used Yahoo for 15? years now so I doubt we'll be changing since these late fixes didn't negatively effect the league.

I'll cut them some slack this time, it's been a shit year and I'm sure there were tons of layoffs in the back end we're not aware of.
