    Default Rantanen or Huberdeau?

    16 team Keep 3 2C 2LW 2RW 4D 1UTIL 1G 4BN
    G,A,PPP,GWG (1) +/- (0.5) SHP (2) SOG,HIT,BLK (0.15) PIM (0.1)

    Keeping Vas and Zibanejad

Huberdeau averaged almost 3fppg and Rant under 2.5

Rant is 3 years younger and has the higher ceiling I think. I can probably get a 2nd round pick for him.

    Who should I keep? Thanks!

I like Rantanen over Huberdeau without any debate. I think they are close at this very moment but won't be for long. Florida is a mess as soon as this year and Rantanen will be posting 90+ for many many years on one of the most loaded and still young offensive teams in the league.

It doesn’t say but it appears question is not about team in signature. Signature is keep 7, question is about keep 3.

I would stick with Rantanen. Colorado is a powerhouse and getting better. Florida not so much.

Rantanen by a hair, but I hate having to make this choice at all.

i think its a personal preference with those 2....i think if it was me i would take Hubs but i dont really have any kind of back up for this. I also dont think that you make mistake either way...

Thanks for all the replies! Tough decision for sure. I'll gauge the market for both and see what the return is. I'll probably go with the younger, higher ceiling in Rant.

I would keep Huberdeau. In the last 2 seasons Hubie is 9th in overall pts in the league.
    Rants has an injury history.

Dobber has Rants for 75pts this season and Hubie at 92pts.
Yes Rants upside is better, but Hubie has established his floor as mid 70's for pts.
Last 3 seasons he's had 19, 34, and 29 for powerplay pts. If not for shortened season he would have 3 seasons in row of 200 or more shots and back to back 90+ pts seasons.

I thinks Rants is going to be like Schiefele, as he is a what you see is what you get player.

Rantanen's injury history pushes this to a keep Hubredeau for me.

I love Huberdeau and think he's severely underrated but I'm going Rantanen here. Rantanen's surrounding cast keeps getting better and Huberdeau's has gotten worse. Florida has lost 2/5ths of its top powerplay and Colorado has gained Makar not to mention MacKinnon is arguably a top two player in the league.

Rantanen has had poor injury luck early on but has everybody already forgotten the injuries Huberdeau and Barkov went through early in their careers? Are they still called injury risks? Rantanen will be fine.

    I'll take Rantanen.
gives you a bit more balanced scoring G vs. A & shoots more.

Rants doesn't shoot more. He actually shoots less than Hubie. He's never had 200 shots in any season.

depends... are you comparing 27yr old Huberdeau to 22yr old Rantanen or 22yr old Huberdeau to 22yr old Rantanen
