    I'll counter the fear with Sorokin plays more games than Varly and Schneider combined .

    there is news all over that he did signed on October 12th for 700K but he is not on any roster charts...whats up with that?

    The contract has either never been signed or hasn't been put through. Matt Martin is in the same boat. There are reports contracts have been agreed to from legitimate sources (LeBrun for one) but Lou isn't finalising them.

    TheAthletic had a Q&A with Arthur Staple (who covers the Isles for them) so I asked about Martin and Schneider's status

    Still waiting for contracts to be filed. Pretty sure they're both Islanders, just waiting for Barzal's deal first before announcing anything else.

    besides Skarek they dont have anyone signed for the minors so it makes sense that Schneider has a handshake deal .

    TB signed Gibson and they didnt offer Soderstrom a deal so its a little thin .
