Which of these three would you draft to be the best for the next 3 years. Shesterkin, Samsonov, Merzlikins

I am drafting 3rd in a 10 man and these might be my 2nd choice if Hellebuyck is taken in a league that will start fresh in 3 years.

Two of them have nice stack possibilities for years to come and that is playing into my decision making.

I have it going Shesterkin, Samsonov, Merzlikins

I think I can draft Merzlikins later and still stack him but if he is equal he also has a great defence in front and a great stack for now

Yep me too, but there's a pretty big space between Samsonov and Merz.

Shesterkin, Merzlikins, Samsonov

Shesterkin- I like the rangers team more than the caps and bluejackets and his only real competition right now is georgiev
Merzlikin/Samsonov- Both will be pushed (korp/lundquist) so its a tough call between these two, over the next three seasons i feel safer with Merzlikins as Washington is getting older fast,

So id go Shesty, Merz and Samsonov

Situationally, Samsonov has the least competition of the 3 over the next 3 years, Merzlikins the most. Shesterkin has been named the teams starter, but his backup is very good himself. They have all proven they have the talent to be starters in the NHL, the question will be consistency.

I think the order listed is fine, but it wouldn't surprise me much if the best one in any one of the next 3 years was any one of these 3 guys.

I personally prefer Elvis to Samsonov. Torts has that defensive system locked in. I think he’s the better goalie on the team and he had a nice run of dominance last year once he was given the reigns.

Igor is the top dog here for me, then Elvis and Samsonov. I don’t there’s there’s massive gaps anywhere between players though

can they keep Shesterkin without exposing him to Seattle? If they cant then they will expose Gregoriev and CBJ will definitely need to exposed one of them ...both Igor and Merz may have full starter job after this year...i think those two teams have best combo of good and young backaups...if i was Seattle i would target both teams for my goalies.

Shesterkin is very much exempt from the expansion draft. They can keep Georgiev, and expose Kinkaid as of right now.

Merzlikins is also exempt.

If you target Merzlikins you need Korpisalo as well. that net can go either way.

You can't say that about NYR/WSH. you know who's crease it is moving forward
