We're looking for two active, cool, hockey loving individuals to join our group. Both teams failed to make the playoffs last year, however both have all (or more) of their picks, a healthy prospect pool, and some really great pieces to build around. Each team offers its own unique highlights and both would be really fun to takeover and turn into winners. Especially with our low buy in (used more to just put a little skin in the game to make it more interesting) and the sheer fact our 5* round draft is starting Monday.
*It's 4 rounds with a 5th round added for playoff teams who traded a 1st this shortened season as a form of compensation.
Team 1 Highlights: Mackinnon, Makar, Rantanen, Gusev, Vrana, Kapanen, Barrie, Sandin, Grubauer, Podkolzin, Brannstrom, 8th overall pick in this years draft, 4 picks in the top 2 rounds. 8 picks total. All picks rounds 1-4 in 2021-22 and 2022-23.
With solid existing pieces including many blue chip pieces this team could be right on the cusp of greatness. It no doubt needs work, but this is a team with a lot of potential.
Team 2 Highlights: Drouin, Romanov, Duchene, Zucker, Sjkei, Eberle. 2nd overall pick in this years draft, 4 picks in the 1st round!!!, 6 in the top 60, 10 picks total this year, 2 firsts next year, 3 2nds, 2 4ths, all picks in 2022-23.
This team is draft pick heavy. In a league where cap is so prevalent that has HUGE potential. Do you trade picks and build for the more immediate future or use your keen draft mind to completely dominate 3 years down the road. This team needs a lot of work, but considering the picks available, and cap availability (as a lot of teams in the league will need to shed cap) this team probably offers the most "FUN" if people are looking for a challenge and something to do during the pandemic.

Still looking for an owner for team 2. I'm realizing it's a hard sell. All of those picks should be enticing though, especially in a league that values youth. If you fancy yourself a hockey guru and really want to put that to the test, this is the team.
