    Default Market for Heiskanen

Looking for advice on the market for Heiskanen.

    League is as follows:
    15 teams
    12 F, 6 D, 2 G, 10 Bench
    Cap: $102M
    Using Salary, not AAV
    Scoring is:
    F: 1x Goals, 1.5x Assist
    D: 2x Goals, 2.25x Assist
    All: 2x GWG, 4xHT, 0.25xPIM, 2x PPG, 3x SHG

The offers I have gotten for Heiskanen have included (individually not together):
    M. Tkachuk
    K. Connor
    T. Teravainen
    A. Barkov

I have a solid D core, but am looking for a F upgrade. I don't need to trade Heiskanen, but I don't think his value will be higher than it is now.

I'm inclined to think that Connors would be the best choice in the long term.

    Thoughts?

    Welcome to the forums!

Personally I like Barkov the most of the forward group, but with Miro still having a year on his ELC, I would need something added to any of those guys in order to move him.

    Thanks!

Regardless, picks will be involved in the trade. Good to know I should be asking for additional elements.

I'm very tempted to move him, but at the same time, I'm not sure if it would be worth it in the long run. Point scoring Dman are hard to come by.

Agree with EB above, this year has huge $ saving benefit w Miro in your league.

Looking at your settings, I prefer Teravainen here if you were to move for a forward. His salary is $4.25m vs Connors $8m, which saves you some space. He's also assist heavy and should hit 70 points..if I followed correctly, apples are worth 1.25x and goals 1x.

FWIW, in my salary cap league, I recently traded Heiskanen for Fiala, straight up.

Our rosters are smaller (6F, 4D), and unlike yours we do not give more weight to dmen scoring. I suspect with dmen scoring weighted more in your league, you should be able to get a better return than I did.
    12 team, H2H, salary cap
    1 pt/G or A, 2 pts/W, 1 pt/OTL, 1 pt/SO

    Forward: B. Point, M. Necas, A. Debrincat, T. Zegras, J. Bratt, L. Raymond
    Defense: J. Morrissey, A. DeAngelo, S. Gostisbehere, D. Doughty
    Goalie: T. Demko, E. Merzlikins
    Bench: M. Rossi, C. Glass, M. Maccelli, M. Dumba, K. Shattenkirk, F. Andersen
Prospects of Note: L. Stankoven, J. Lekkerimaki, D. Yurov, B. Clarke

League has been running continuously since 1997-98
