First concert U2 at the Montreal Forum in 1985 on the Unforgettable Fire Tour. Even though my tastes have evolved away from U2 over the years, it was a great first concert.

Worst concert by far was Guns 'n Roses / Metallica at Olympic Stadium in Montreal. Metallica setlist was cut short when James was injured onstage (obviously don't hold that against them), 2 or 3 hour break before GNR hits the stage, then they play only 9 songs and leave. Riot ensues. No, I was not one of the rioters. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bjnb3oaCGvM

The Beach Boys at Exhibition Stadium in Toronto in 1973. It was a 'Midnight' concert and they did 3 encores. Ended around 3:00 am.

I was in Toronto to see GnR, Metallica, and Faith No More (who I love). We heard on the radio about 11 at night that the Toronto show the next day was cancelled because of what happened in Montreal. What a drag. They came back later but it was mid week and I didn't go. That is one that got away. Axel was a real douchebag back then.

    1991 - Winnipeg Arena, I was 19.
Van Halen (Hagar) headlining...with Alice In Chains opening. 23rd row on the floor.

I still have the ticket stub (I do for most concerts I've been to)!

It was before Alice In Chains were very big, Layne Staley was completely out of it but sounded good...he lay on his back for 3 songs straight. The guitarist kept on spitting on the crowd (I was out of range thankfully).

Van Halen were great, it was basically a big party and we were all invited. Seeing both Eddie and Alex do solos at my first ever concert is pretty special And yes, Eddie did Eruption...and he chugged an entire beer that Sammy held for him in the middle of it, did not miss a note! Just that huge grin...

    Absolutely no one like Eddie!

I listen to mostly any music, except country. Been to many live performances, but can't really say they were concerts. Music festivals yes - that would be Rock Fest Montebello and Heavy Montreal.

Saw Moxy Fruvous at UofGuelph back in college. Don’t remember much. Then saw Motley Crue in 2005? I think, at the ACC, great show but they had to take some breaks because Mars was in pretty rough shape and looked like he would collapse any second during the show. Then Tommy pulled out the “titty cam” and all was back to normal lol.

Mudvayne at The Warehouse in Toronto...I think 2003 or 2004. I was in grade 10. First huge concert I think was Coldplay at the ACC a few years later.
