Tchaikovsky. Bach and Mozart were before my time.

Ok, so ridiculous but seriously - first organized concert I ever attended.

12-team, H2H. Keep 12, but drop 2 of top four skaters, and also 2 of next six, then five more (from end-of-year rankings). One GK max.

You reminded me that I saw the Toronto Symphony Orchestra as part of a field trip in my elementary school days, so that might then be my first concert.

What a sweet memory. Meeting Plant, just wow. They were a powerhouse. Their music is still relevant today. No telling what they would have done had it not been for Bonhams death and their time with drugs.

When I was a kid, my Mother won tickets to a Johnny Mathis concert at Hershey park Arena. I barely remember it, but there was a meal involved. I was preteen. So I guess technically .... BUT .... In 1980, same location ... for all you Canadians, my first true concert. One of my favorite bands of all time. The Permanent Waves tour "RUSH" opening in it's entirety 2112 (Overture through Finale). So many great songs that night. Alex is still incredible!

Oh man, I think I screwed up by saying Van Halen in 1984. Memories are coming back from 1982:

Scorpions and Girlschool opened for Iron Maiden - I remember Eddy, larger than life on stage! I was 16.

Have seen Metallica every time they have come through town ever since. Lost count but it must be at least 6 or 7 shows now.
I was at that show! The Cult opened for them?

Metallica has lost a lot for me since, but to me, that was when they were epic.
