I took over a last place team in 2018. I had first pic the last 2 yrs. 2018 I traded Dahlin for Draisaitl before the draft.
I drafted J Hughes in 2019.
Before 2019 draft I traded F Andersen for Makar.
I was in first place for like 10 wks last yr thren started to struggle a bit. I traded J Hughes for Forsberg hoping to make a push for the win then the season ended w me in 4th place hahha

Heres who I plan on keeping. Hischier Im kinda gettin sketchy on. Sure his potential is there but I dont want to be saying that for the next 5yrs.
W only 10 teams, goalies are fairly easy to come by. I figure I can re draft at least one of the 3.

Also, its a progressive keeper league so each yr we keep 2 more than last yr.

Interesting. In that case, I'd still probably keep hart, and keep both hischier and vrana. Dach has lots of potential but on a team heading into a deep rebuild he wont give you what you're looking for for a few years. And I'm a little worried with Thomas' immediate future as well as his shot rate is low low low. Hischier is 1C on a team that's closer to the end of their rebuild and improving steadily imo. If you are going for the win he'd make the cut over either of the youngsters. 10 team, they are redraftable.

We r on espn and its down right now. When it comes back I may try to swindle a trade something like Forsberg + Thomas for XXXXX. Or Monohan n Thomas

That's a solid plan. Get an upgrade. If you feel like you can rock it with no goalie keeps then Dach would be the next guy on my list as well, ahead of Thomas for sure, for what its worth. But then I would try and shop your goalies around for upgrades as well. They all are top notch youngsters that could net you something substantial.

With 10 teams and it being a progressive keeper, I think I would still keep the 2 Goalies Hart & Shesterkin, they may be gold in the next year or 2. I think it is easier to draft Forwards in this type of league as the top teams will have to leave players open as well.
With 10 teams you need to protect studs at each position as easy to replace the bottom keepers. Would also lean to. PP goal scores as well

Ive been back and forth on him but gonna gamble that he benefits from the Hall acquisition
