get Burns for Hronek + Picks?
am i crazy for wanting to pickup Burns who turns 36 this spring?
I'm not a favorite to win this year but should be in the mix.
BURNS for HRONEK + 2nd (2020) + 3rd (2021)
Burns would take my final D spot instead of SUTER or HRONEK.
bad idea or terrible idea?
probably a better idea to use those picks to upgrade my centers?

draft picks are for current draft class and any availble FAs.
We keep our entire team each year, BUT if you finish in the top 6 -- bottom 6 teams get to steal either 1 or 2 players depending on how they finish. some more layers to it but that's the gist.
Once season starts. ACTIVE rosters are locked, aside from Christmas Break and Trade Deadline. only way to move players from your team when roster is locked is by making trades.

So you guys are likely only going to be able to swap active roster players out once this year, with no Christmas break.
I'd probably just stand pat if you're just a semi-contender.

I'd also keep what you have. Even if you finish in the top six and you think someone might snag one of your guys, I have a hard time seeing them being focused on taking a D from you.

points only, im also keeping Hornek and picks, i think Burns will outpoint him this year but not by enough to give up years of production from Hornek + picks.
