Eh no kidding. That plus/minus bump/hit hurts Hronek here a lot actually.

I think it still comes down to what OP is trying to do next year.

If it's full on compete, swing for the fences with Puljujarvi.

If it's see how you do, but focus on the year after, then go with Glass.

Personally, I'm with you. I'm swinging for the fences with Puljujarvi. He's going to get every chance to settle into the top 6 as a shooter given what he's doing in Liiga.

Yes, it is for the league in sig. And yes, the +/- .5 is a deterrent for Hronek. I was wondering if people saw that. It is the only thing that still has me questioning. But my hope is the revamped D units in DET will take some of the burden off Hronek to play in all situations (PK) that could hurt his +/-, so he can be freed up for more offensive zone time. But yes, if he is a -20 that is equivalent to 8 assists being scratched off or -10 is 4 assists. Hronek is a high-volume hitter and shot blocker though, so that can also make up for it...

I do hate +/- as a stat, but that's the league you are in. No way Hronek's +/- is as bad this year with, as you say, the improvements Yzerman has made. Win now mode you have to go with Hronek.
