    Sad, and I don't mean in an unhappy way.

    BREAKING: New York Mets second baseman Robinson Cano has tested positive for a performance-enhancing drug and will be suspended for the entire 2021 season, sources familiar with the situation tell ESPN. He will forfeit a $24 million salary. News story will be up soon at ESPN.

    wow. What a stupid thing to do. Risking his health and losing out on $24 million.

    I get when fringe players, AAA guys do steroids, a player going into his FA yr, but never stars with contracts. I just don't get it. Must be an ego thing.

    What this does from a baseball aspect, it opens up $24mill the Mets were already planning on spending for FA. Might make them an option for Lindor now too
