1.2 Mission Statement
The FIHF was created in the framework of establishing a competitive and entertaining re-creation of the game of hockey where we could put ourselves into the role of an NHL general manager and assume the day to day operations entitled to that position. The goal of the FIHF is to be as close as a resemblance to the NHL operations as possible so that the manager of each respective FIHF franchise will realize the enjoyment and responsibility of their position.

To that affect our league has entry level, restricted and unrestricted contracts, Salary Cap with LTIR and IR clauses, waivers, Free Agency, restricted free agency and offer sheets, farm team or prospects pools and much more. Although we have designed this to be uncomplicated, this league is for an individual that is looking for the best fantasy experience you can get Also we have developed into a pretty good group of guys that is fun to be a part of.

We run head to head, with the following stat categories: Goals (goals plus shootout goals), Assists, +/- (1/2 point), Grit (hits+blocks+penalty minutes), SPTPTS (PP points + 2x Shorthanded points), Shifts (1/2 point), Shots, GAA, Saves, GOPTS (Wins + Shut outs). Each week you will play three total matches. Weekly roster update is due Monday before any nhl game has started.

The team that is available is well stocked with talent both on the big club and also in the minors and can be turned into a contender with the right owner. Notable assets include J. Eichel, G. Denisenko, M. Murray.
