I wouldn't take anyone back under 170pts from last year as a main piece of the deal for Eichel otherwise you take on all the risk with very little of the upside. Barzal and Laine are nice pieces but you need a main piece plus one of them.
For second team in Signature. 8 team league. 22 man roster, 15 keepers. I have Vrana as a keeper right now, but obviously he could be changed up with someone else.
3 points for every 2 Goals (1.5 per) ALL 3 points for every Hat Trick ALL 3 points for every Power Play Goal ALL 2 points for every Power Play Assist ALL 3 points for every Short Handed Goal ALL 2 points for every Short Handed Assist ALL 1 point for every Assist ALL 1 point for every 10 Shots On Goal (0.1 per) C, LW, RW, D 1 point for every 20 Penalty Minutes (0.05 per)
Another team has inquired about Eichel. A few trades he has offered up have been:
His John Tavares, Laine for my Eichel and W. Karllsson
His M. Barzal, P. Laine, A. Kopitar, 1.7 round pick for my J. Eichel and T. Toffoli
This second offer is the most recent and is actually there for accepting as I type this. My first pick in the draft is actually 3.5 so the first round pick is helpful although, I am not a huge believer in the draft as the players there often are just bench players.
If I accepted this offer, I would then replace Eichel, Vrana and Palmieri with Barzal, Laine and A. Kopitar in my keeper group.
For reference with points, last year:
Eichel 191.4
Toffoli 105.3
W. Karllson 101.1
J. Vrana. 112.1
K. Palmieri. 125.1
Barzal. 116.8
P. Laine. 143.7
A. Kopitar. 138.8
Tavares 142.9
He does not have Kopitar as a keeper, so he is kind of a throw in to the deal, although, he would help me with my C depth. I am not sure if I could get Tavares included into the deal rather than Barzal and still have him keep the 1st round pick in there. This other team also has A. Svechnikov, who is interesting to me.
The obvious issue I have is in this trade, Eichel is the best player of the deal and I am hesitant to move him for obvious reasons.
Any advice would be appreciated.

(No I don't have a hockey problem...)
Karlsson/Toffoli are non-keepers if I read right.
Math, using the keepers you'd drop as part of the "Out" number:
1. 143.7 + 142.9 = 286.6 In versus 191.4 + 125.1 = 316.5 Out. Pass on this.
2. 143.7 + 116.8 + 138.8 = 399.3 In (plus a pick) versus 191.4 + 125.1 + 112.1 = 428.6 Out. This is close, what can you get in round 1?

Would be at bare minimum, 125 point player.

Well, if it could improve one of your keepers, it may work.
However, I'd really prefer a deal involving:
1. Tavares over Barzal, like you said, or
2. Svechnikov, whom you like, or
3. Possibly dealing a wing away for a package coming back. Would he be interested in Marchand, maybe?

The only way I would consider trading away Eichel in a limited keeper is if I am getting back TWO serious upgrades to my keeper situation. If that isn't happening, I'm keeping Eichel. I just dont see it in either offer here.

I moved him this off season after holding him since his draft year, but that was for two seriously awesome keepers and to create more positional balance. I don't think it's crazy to move him, but I think it needs to be a big overpay and those offers aren't enough. Shop him to the whole league and tell them to come hard.

Thanks for all the replies. I ended up rejecting the trade. I think Ill hold him for awhile. I do think he has tons of upside and he is basically one of my top players on my team.
