Question Is it time to draft a goalie ? On the clock.

Iím on the clock for my pick in round 11. We go 20 rounds.

Grouping the goalies into Dobberís pts only tiers:
    I have tier 1 Kuemper.
tier 2 available Sorokin, Blackwood, Koskinen, Ullmark
tier 3 Talbot, Dubnyk, Greiss, Delia, Khudobin, Petersen, MAF
    tier 4 Francouz etc.

7 teams pick twice before it gets back to me. All those teams have 2 goalies with the exception of 1 team having 3.

Iíd like to pick up another Dman with +160 sog, +120 hits, +120 blks. Parayko, Dumba, Trouba.

If I draft a goalie now I doubt one of those d will be available.
Do I chance the 2 goalie teams will wait another round or 2 before drafting their 3rd goalie.

    Thoughts ?

I'd take a D. I know I'm replying a lot to you on this draft, but my thinking is that as long as you are in agreement on the tiers having enough goalies int hem, I go with the D. I like some of those tier 3 goalies as much or more than some of the tier 2 (and likely some of the tier 4) , because that's the nature of tiering.

I am also guessing Raanta is still out there. I wouldn't take him next, but just checking.
10 team Head-to-head true dynasty. Roster 33, draft 2, cut down before season. Start 1 G, 1 backup G, 6 D, 12 F arranged in 4 lines of 3. Only categories that matter are Goals, Assists, Save% with a shutout bonus. Having NHL teammates helps.

    Backup G: F Andersen
D: Carlson, DeAngelo, Letang, Marino, Makar, Yandle
    F1: Couturier, Giroux, Voracek
    F2: Schiefele, Wheeler, MacKinnon
    F3: Stamkos, Point, JT Miller
    F4: Bertuzzi, Tavares, Seguin

    Bench:
    G: Bobrovsky
D: Barrie, M Reilly, Heiskanen, Klingberg, Pionk, Weegar, Ekblad,
F: Benn, Guentzel,, Labanc, Necas, Pearson
    Reserve: Datsyuk

Your team is built to compete this year and in the short-term. I think you're okay to go for another Dman. The goalies you listed (with the exception of maybe Sorokin) should still be there by your next pick, and next season looks to be a real time-share between 1A/1B goalies due to the condensed schedule. With a keep 6 (so no point in grabbing Sorokin) I think you should load up on skaters and grab a goalie later.

Take the D, you will be able to get a goalie later on from the tiers.

Stevegamer I really appreciate the advice. This first draft in this league has been a learning experience. Cheers

Agree with others. Take the D. There's lots of sneaky decent goalie options left.
