Take Kuemper, and then wait. There's no point reaching for poor goalies when each of the next 15 goalies off the board are going to be similar. Draft the best skaters for a while, and then come back when you can grab a Halak or Francouz, and run with that.

If you worry yourself into taking lesser goalies now then you end up with lesser goalies and lesser skaters. If you take skaters now, you have a similar lesser level of goalies, but your drafted skaters will at least be better.

Kuemper is the last tier 1 goalie (albeit Dobber’s pts only Rankings).
Khudobin , Sorokin would be tempting. However I see the logic in Kuemper as he is the #1 in Arizona (mind you it is Arizona).

Good advice from EB, get Kuemper even follow up with Raanta later. You can focus on better skaters and fill in with a decent goalie later.

Agree w/ taking Kuemper but then I’d take Sorokin with your second pick. He’s likely to be the future - AND as important, he’s the most trade-able for value. You didn’t even list Georgiev - sneaky value later in the draft, that you don’t need to over-spend on.

Id keep an eye on Kudo, he can be had late and Bishop is out 5months and is hurt all the time anyways...can be great value for late round pick.

Does 4 weekly starts mean you have to get in 4 starts a week? Or is it 4 starts max? That might change things a bit. 4 his high for a minimum with how many goalies you roster and 4 as a max pushes even more value on higher end starters.

We have just started round 3 and I’m on the clock shortly.
I’ll have 2 picks back to back in round 4.
True starters left Khudobin, Koskinen, Blackwood, Delia, Greiss, Dubnyk, Ullmark, Talbot.

That’s my error. We have 3 goalie roster spots. However only needing 4 starts 1 is mostly used as a bench spot.
