Who is my last keeper?
The Seguin rehab news has me re-evaluating my final keeper spot. For sure 7 of 8 keepers are:
- Pettersson
- Barkov
- Scheifele
- Vasilevskiy
- Hamilton
- Werenski
- Ellis
Seguin was going to be #8. Not sure if I should stick with him on the bench for awhile, or keep:
- Kopitar
- Gustafsson
- Marino (long shot)
Who would you keep as the 8th player?

I think you have to stick with Seguin, even with the labrum repair. Gustafsson looks like he could be a productive PP1 for the Flyers, but that's not certain and who knows where he'll be next year. Voracek's in decline, as is Kopitar. Staal and Pavelski too old to keep.

Kopitar is a good option here. He's not far off Seguin, and has no health issues right now.

I’m also leaning Kopitar, just wanted to get some thoughts.
Gustafson is somewhat intriguing if he can take over as the power play guy in Philly, but Kopitar is the known commodity

Seguin has seen his points decline and Dallas doesn't score a heck of alot. Hes pretty close to Kopitar and LA has some exciting players coming up. I'd go Anze

I don't think Gustafsson gets PP1 time unless there's an injury. Honestly, he's not a guy I think the Flyers needed - we already have an offensively oriented, defense liability defenseman.Originally Posted by joeb323

Do you HAVE to keep 3D or are you just choosing to keep someone like Ellis?
If you dont have to keep 3D, I'd drop Ellis and keep Kopitar and Seguin.
