Severson is the safest pick , Matheson could have the biggest pay off tho if he gets his game back and Letang gets injured … 2 very possible potentials.

I don't drop any of the 3 you have for any of the guys you plan to pick up. If I'm dropping one of them, maybe Sanheim, because I think he has the hardest path to PP1, but then only for Severson.
Dunn & Matheson are in no better shape.

This is the team, with the top 9 fow, 4 def & 1 goalie that counts for the total of points. The rest is back-up.
But all players with les than 150 games won't need protection for the next year. Guys like Makar, Gusev, Gurianov and Suzuki will be fine to be free of protection next year if the season is around 60 games, add to this Valimaki and Stutzle.
So in the end their might just be no forward worth to drop to fit Severson

I see no froward worth dropping there. Wait for the season to start, and if there's a trade out there for you to free up a spot, or to get a D, you can pursue that.

I agree sanheim for severson is the only move that makes sense to me, and I'd probably do it too.
