DeAngelo -- sorry, I'm going to disagree with the masses. he has the most legit elite offensive skill set in the bunch. It's going to translate into a long leash defensive holes be damned. Whether it's with the Rags or not...

For next 3ish years only
DeAngelo - has already proven he is an offensive stud and no matter if he is on rangers or not he has established himself as a top PP point producer. The most proven of the bunch.
Boqvist - Talent level is super high. Hes already in the big show and has nobody in his way for top deployment. Supporting cast looks great in 3 years.
Pionk - Already proven. Although he might be surpassed on the depth chart if Winnipeg makes a trade, he is locked in on that top PP and producing now. Circumstance could drop him below bouchard but for now that isnt a worry.
Valimaki - Tearing it up overseas, looks ready, could grab PP 1 in the next couple years
Bouchard - Barrie is a hurdle now. High upside, maybe the most, but circumstance might keep him from his ceiling more than other guys on this list. Not to mention Broberg giving him some competition. Could see him and pionk switching places in the future though.
Drysdale - Just because he is the most offensive defenseman of this class doesn't mean he stacks up against these other options imo, especially 3-5 years. Shiny new toy syndrome.
Seider
Agree with Napoleon and Lucafen here.

Pionk (for me slightly ahead of Boqvist... but 3 years from now... maybe I’m wrong)
Boqvist
Then I like Valimaki of the rest of the group and flip a Clint for the remaining untested guys. No slight on them but I e been burnt by guessing on unproven D before.
Really happy to see some folks pumping DeAngelo's tires
Consider Sim Hockey because guys who play shutdown minutes, deflect shots and clear creases build championships. Yet in fantasy they litter the unwanted UFA lists.
DeAngelo was a very troubled player, personality/work ethic wise, at least as the media made it seem, but I don't think there is a more offensive team moving forward than the NY Rangers. Young, deep, and he's their clear QB. The other guys aren't even in the same convo (as long as Tony stay sin NY).
I really dont know how anyone can differentiate between most of those guys. All are high end prospects for their respective teams that havent even begun to scratch the surface of their upside.

Valimaki**
It's a 60/50/40 list... they are all going to be great players.
Drysdale will be special - and ANA PP1 will pop for him at the right time.
I give DeAngelo props for his current game... but NYR is stacked - and I think it'll be Fox that emerges to run that dynamic NYR PP1.
Detroit is going to have a good PP1 too and I think Seider's O-game is good enough to score a lot of points.
Bouchard will be a solid player too - but I am unsure if he gets full PP1 duty for EDM.
I actually really like Boqvist, but CHI is headed for the toilet.
Pionk had a nice year, but I don't see the upside.
**In truth, I haven't seen Valimaki play enough yet, but I will say I think Rasmus Andersson has more O-game - and his extra year or two of development could roadblock Valimaki.
