Just need to make sure I'm not overthinking this.

    16 team dynasty, start 8 forwards, G, A, +/-, PPP, Hits, SOG

Would you rather have Byfield alone or Raymond and Stutzle? In a hits league with only 8 forwards, I'm weighing having the better forward who could be also hits guy against getting two guys who provide a little less scoring and who will probably be low-hits guys.

    It's dead simple here... Byfield.

You're not differentiating between W and C, so the usual knock on centres (Byfield) doesn't apply. It's a SHALLOW league with only 128 forwards scoring... in that format, you want to swing for the fences, and that's Byfield.

i prefer Suttzle + Raymond to just Byfiled. I firmly believe that all 7 stud forwards in this years draft will all become 70+ point players in the NHL at some point. These 3 have very high ceiling and i much rather have two changes at reaching it then one.

    It's a fair counterpoint.

The #128 forward in the league scores about 45 points in recent years, so that's the bar against which we're measuring.

I honestly believe that Byfield's ceiling is 100+, whereas the other Stutzle and Raymond have a ceiling around 75-80. So would you rather one shot at +55, or two shots at +30-35?

Given the depth of the league, and that there are always good surprises in the 60-70 point range but almost never above 80, I'd swing for the fences here but that's me and my preference. Can't fault Belexus75's view here.

it might be a small talking point, but I'd take byfield to put up more hits per season than Raymond & Stutzle combined.

The draft pre-amble of Stutzle over Byfield was another example of sports media trying to create pre-draft drama
