just curious, what was a deal where top 2-3 D prospect is a throw in?

hard to project but everywhere other than NHL he produced at just under PPG which is great for D. He is in Switzerland atm and in 5 games he has 2G 2A. He was producing lots of assists in AHL last year as well.

i do see him cracking the roster this year and sticking, he will need to prove a lot to jump past Chabot as PP1 guy and i dont see it happening this year but im sure he will get some PP time.

I heard some say that Sanderson will devalue Brannstrom but i dont see it, i dont see Sanderson being used in offensive situations at all unless one of Chabot or Brannstrom is moved.

I expect secondary scoring from him down the road. When I say down the road, I guess I am referring to 2-4 years down the road. Not saying he wont contribute before that, but thats when I expect him to start hitting his stride offensively. I dont think he'll be much more of a 40-50pts guy most seasons at his peak primarily because of who's in front of him. Chabot is the cog that turns that wheel offensively in Ottaway and will be for years. Brannstrom will be a secondary option from Chabot. Good, but not "the man" per se.

From what I've seen of him, and read, I think Brannstrom will be one of those slow, steady risers. He'll be frustrating, fantasy-wise, because it will seem like he's always on the cusp of breaking out but he never really will (not to his lofty projections, anyway).
