Depends heavily on your roster depth. For the length of their ELC's, that deal quite possibly makes you worse, as all 3 should outperform their contract by a lot. It can work, but you need the pieces in place to make it work.

In a keep 7, I would take McDavid over Fox, Shesterkin, and Hughes. Pretty easily.

One question: Marino as a keeper in a keep 7?

I don't think I could do that deal with Quinn or Jack.

    Need more information here.

How deep is the league? How many teams, how many players rostered and positional requirements.

What is your roster? Do Fox / Shesterkin / J.Hugues crack it? Do you have suitable replacement parts?

Where are you in relation to the cap? Can you fit McDavid and two more scrubs to fill in the empty spots?

A limited keeper sways me towards McDavid, but the above information is important in making a decision.

No, McDavid is not outperforming those three collectively and Fox is a way better keep option than Marino for you.

It's not McDavid vs Fox/Shesterkin/J. Hughes though.

    It's McDavid/D/G vs Fox/Shesterkin/J. Hughes.

Getting additional information to figure out who those replacements could be is key here, as well as understanding the league depth and dynamics.

Not to mention it's a limited keeper (7). Upgrading your keepers with the best player in the game is a big deal.

We need to know how many teams are in the league.

Assuming there are under 16 teams, in a keep 7, I would doubt Fox is even a keeper.

Heck yes I'd go for that! Entry level contracts come and go - McDavid is the best player in the league and will be for years to come. Make the splash!

Yeah, you needed to give more information up front. In a keep 7 you want elite talent. In a cap league you want elite talent on cheap contracts.

We now know it's the lesser Hughes (Jack), so that's fine. He's not a keeper. Fox is also not a keeper.

The only guy here that makes me pause is Shesterkin, who I figure replaces McDavid if you get him as your last keeper. I'd make the deal, because McDavid is a really, really safe asset. However, you're going to have to work to fit players in more going forward.

only way this is good for you is for next 2 years or so while they all on ELC and assuming you are in cap trouble and this helps you....if you not at the cap i would keep McDavid ....and 2 years form now once all 3 get paid you will really miss mcdavid
