Yep that is the main issue. Obviously I hope Jimmy can find a spot somewhere since he's by far the youngest.

Looking through the teams there are really only a few spots where it could work:

    - Chicago (Subban and Delia)
    - Ottawa (backup to Murray)
    - St Louis (backup to Binnington if Husso isn't good to go)
    - Tampa (I heard McElhinney was considering retirement but can't find that anywhere now)

Only other one I’d add is Anaheim- they need a backup. Otherwise, they may have to wait for an injury to crop up to get a shot.

I think Miller finds work somewhere. Anderson is going to retire, and Howard just won't get an offer this year.

I'm on the same wave length as EB, although I'd flip Miller and Anderson. I can see Miller drifting off into retirement (already living where he wants to live with his family) and Anderson getting one or two more years as a mentor.

Agree Howard probably finds some playing time in the minors perhaps/over seas and may get a shot if injuries take place.

I'm confused as to why you guys think Howard isn't going to sign somewhere.....

    2-23-2
    4.20 GAA
    .882 SV%

Think about how hard it is to pull those numbers off.

    I think Anderson is done.

The Athletic said Miller is apparently training fairly hard after a discussion with Murray so I can see the Ducks bringing him back. If they don't I think he retires as well.

Howard I would think has the best chance, he at least seems to have the greatest desire to continue by all accounts. HR has a good list of options, Chicago at the top makes a lot of sense.

Yeah Ottawa is out on these old guys. I still think we'll see some goalie movement via trade before the season. That'll open up a spot of two.
To my mind Chicago is indeed a good candidate as are Boston, Carolina, Arizona, and CBJ. These are all pending possible post trade needs...

    Anderson retires.
Howard will not retire, but won't get a contract. And shouldn't. He's this year's Steve Mason - doesn't know yet that he's been toast for a while.
Miller might be back for one more year as a backup.

Nilsson is still dealing with concussion symptoms and the talk around town is they are in the market for a veteran goalie because of it. Miller to Ottawa is my take. Retirement for the other 2

Nah... It’s Fleury to Ottawa. The universe wills it to fruition.
