Default Option A or Option B

Hey all. Inaugural dynasty draft for basically points only cap league. Please help me pick between the 2 following options :

    Option A :

Grab 2 of Konecny, JT Miller, RNH, Ehlers, Hertl. (all around 5-6M)

    Option B :

Grab one of Malkin, Kane, Hall, Stamkos, Panarin ($$$) + either Garland or Vilardi (pretty much all low salary guys who have already somewhat produced are gone)

    Thanks

    I would go Panarin/Vilardi

I like the potential of Vilardi on the 2nd line for the Kings. I know it’s a gamble but it could pay off big time!

I also would go with Panarin and Vilardi. Panarin is the clear #1 points only LW in fantasy and he should be in the 100 point range for at least 2-3 years, and Vilardi long term will be a top 6 forward, since I think Byfield-Vilardi is going to be the top 2 C there once Kopitar starts to regress.
12 team deep keeper league, 17 main roster players, 5 prospect players, max 2 goalie keepers for the main roster. point breakdown goes as follows:
    Skaters:
G is 4 points, 5.2 points for D goals. A is 2.5 points, 3.25 points for defense. 0.07 per FOW, 0.2 points for blocks, hits, and SOG 0.5 points for PIMS and +/-, 3 for SHG, 1.5 for SHA.
    Goalies:
GS is 1.5 points, -1 for GA, 0.2 for SV, 4 for SHO, and 3 for W.

    I would go Panarin, Garland.

Basically you're looking at taking two 70 point guys vs Panarin plus somebody. If Panarin gets you 95, your somebody needs to be at least a 45 point guy for this strategy to pay off.

Thanks for the replies. Am evaluating another option. I have the least $$$ invested so far so I could probably pull off 2 other options :

    Option C
    Panarin + Konecny (or Miller)

    Option D
2 of Stamkos, Kane, Malkin, Hall

That would most likely bring me up to being the most invested cap wise (by a few million compared to 2nd most)

    Thoughts?

If you can fit Panarin and Miller then do that. If not, Panarin and Garland (Vilardi is acceptable too).

Panarin and Miller would be the best option by far. If you can afford both, go for it!

Panarin and Miller even better! If you get both, this is much better than the first comment I sent, as both should be around 170-180 points combined I believe.

Was able to pick up Panarin and Garland (Miller grabbed 2 picks before me). 4 more picks before my next pick so hoping one of Konecny or Vilardi will still be available. If not what do you think of Beauvillier at 2,1M or Gusev at 4,5M?

Beauv. I don’t think he’ll put up quite the same points as gusev, but in a cap league he’s the better bargain. Really started to emerge in the playoffs and is on track for a nice breakthrough.
