Best guess on everyone's top 5 goalies to own this upcoming (most likely) shorten season.
We do an auction draft ( have $200 to spend) in a 15 team league, goalies are both coveted and can be expensive ($40+) for the 1-2 tier. 10F 5D 2G, bench ( free after draft ) of 7 ,2 can be goalies. Roto league. Goalie cats are wins,save%and shutouts.
I'm keeping Jarry ($10) and Eichel ($30).
Mainly looking for opinions just on whom to go after in the draft?

im gonna stay out of your pricing as we dont have enough info but based on performance and who i think will play most games here is my top 5, order could flip i guess:

real world salaries don't count? What G stats do you track? Limit to how many games G can play? H2H or roto? How many teams in the league? What other Gs are being kept? You need to provide more info...

call me crazy, but I'm over Price being a top 5 candidate. He's slightly above average stat-wise. Top 15 fantasy G. not in my top 5.

My uneducated guess was Helly and Vas for top 2 but that's just my opinion.

Vas is an FA because owner kept for 3 years (can't keep for more than 3yrs in my league). Also have to add $5 to keep
a player ( if eligible)on top of what you paid at auction.
Helly in same boat, owner can't keep.
Prevents owners from holding onto forever with 3 yr deal.

I just cannot have Binny in this list as I’m not sure he’s the 2019 guy all the time. And ya Price isn’t a top 5 any longer as he’s going the way of Holtby and Quick as guys that were good and carried the load but cannot any longer.

Price will be a Vezina finalist if not the winner this year. The Habs are going to play large portions of their games in the other team’s zone.

This right here. Great list and great points on Binnington and Price. Couldn't agree more. Not to mention the crazy contract for Price. He's more of an anchor in cap leagues these days.

I stillt hink Vasilevsky is the best own in fantasy hockey right now. Hellebuyck a close second. Id have Helle ahead of Vasi but Vas has a better team in front of him.
