    I prefer Rantanen , whilr Marner might be more the driver, the reality is Rantanen will be tied to the hip to the 2nd best player in the league for the next 6+ years and will highly benefit to the point he beats out Marner most years in points, the key however will be staying healthy.

    See what I mean? If you like Marner @Lucafen ... don’t over pay. Rantanen is good shit as the Avs fan confirmed above.

    I think we are splitting hairs, but I still have Marner. Mackinnon is great, but the Leafs offense is no slouch. An injury to Mackinnon is huge; a Matthews injury still leaves Tavares, Nylander etc. More depth in Toronto offensively.

    Raantanen 80-90 points and Marner 90-100. Marner kills penalties too so not sure what your categories are. Marner gets more shots and neither is big (but both decent) in hits/blocks.

    Can't go wrong with either but I'm still edge to Marner.

    I think Marner is the way to go here. Getting the best player in a deal is usually the way to go.
