Fantrax ; should we be concerned ?

Fantrax has been having an issue with their stats provider for NFL , NCAA . I'm not entirely sure if the stats provider they utilize has gone belly up leaving them scrambling or if its the other way around and fantrax hasnt paid their bills . I just play in a casual nfl league so I'm not affected by this too much but their message board is getting a lot of complaints from custumers asking for refunds etc.

also , some people that have renewed their mlb leagues for 2021 who use the premium service noted a new price of 99.99 and another fella said his was 119.99 . I'm wondering if nhl and nba will see same increase for 2021-2022

anyways , yahoo and cbs can probably absorb the economics affecting fantasy sports due to covid but I'm getting a bit worried about fantrax surviving this .

NFL Scoring Outage
Scoring is currently not available as our stat provider is experiencing a major service disruption. They are working around the clock to get it fixed as quickly as possible, but they cannot give us an ETA. We have deleted all stats they have provided thus far as they are not accurate.

We are close to onboarding our new provider, Sportradar, the official stat provider for the NFL. Unfortunately we're not quite there yet. We expect to have updated stats in the coming days, and all stats will be retroactively restored. We are very sorry that we we are not able go live with the new provider in time for Sunday's kickoff.

Please note that the scoring/stats in your league will ultimately be made accurate once full service is restored. We deeply apologize for this problem, and hope to have live stats again soon.

I would not be worried.

This isn't the first time this has happened to a service. We've seen scoring disruptions before in the hobby and people will complain. We will do so again, unless all fantasy games are owned by the leagues, in which case people won't have the right to complain. Yes, I'm serious.

It's nice to have the fantasy services synced up with the official stat provider, but the leagues are working on monopolizing everything they can, since they are effectively legal monopolies.

Daily fantasy not being correctly branded as gambling from the start has been bad for the hobby, as it's led to companies whose plan was all along to be gambling sites to take lots of business from companies that have a smaller revenue streams and are more likely to have issues. Now that sports gambling is legal in the US, of course they became sportsbooks.
