Pick a prospect or go with a veteran?

I’m up in 1 pick for my team in sig. (prospect pick 23rd overall)

I’m debating choosing between Perunovich, Dubé or Zary.

The kicker is I’ve been offered 2 of 4 NHLers for my pick (Kadri, Tatar, Toffoli, Radulov). I’m not sure if I can pick the 2 yet but assuming I can, I want Kadri and one of Radu/Tatar.

Would you guys go for the 2 NHLers (which ones if so) or one of the prospects (plz rank).

Ya, they are kept. Now these 2 will bring me up to 18 and I have 4 NHLer picks to grab 2 other guys and either trade the other picks or look for undrafted prospects

Agree with the rest. This is a strong trade given your keepers are set and this does not cost you anyone else. Sets you up nicely for the upcoming season at a relatively low cost.

I'm going Tatar over Toffoli personally. Toffoli doesn't have a Pettersson in MTL to boost his totals. Tatar on the other hand has shined in MTL and is entering a contract year.

Here that’s my initial one. I’m probably not keeping either guy so I’m looking for top potential for this year and maybe I’ll keep Kadri if he plays well.

Ok so I pulled the trigger on it. There were a few last minute clauses... had to do Kadri and Toffoli (I’m not sad). Had to add my 51st redraft pick (a guy like Stepan might be available then) but got a pick upgrade in that same draft; my 23rd for his 21st.
