How do you think of these players in terms of potential, or ceilings? I'm really only concerned with point totals.

I feel like Suzuki/Olofsson are a bit more intriguing, since both are likely 1st line, 1st pp and are going to have every opporunity to succeed after good 1st seasons. The fact that they are both only entering their 2nd year makes it seem to me that they could still have untapped point-per-game potential.

With Meier/D. Strome, I don't get that same feeling. Maybe it's just impatience on my part, but it seems they haven't made the most of their opportunties thus far.

I have to cut one center and winger, so which should it be and why?

I like Suzuki now, high hockey IQ, he will get all chances to flash.

This type of player just can't fail (ala Galchenyuk)...

Suzuki is the only one i haven't seen play, but there has been alot of buzz about him on other forums (from mtl fans mind you), and he got a substantial 26-spot increase in dobber's rankings after his playoff performance.

Dobber probably can't make a more drastic change than that, but if suzuki is trending in that direction, he very well may continue to climb in the rankings during the regular season!

In points only, I agree with the others: Suzuki and Olofsson.

However, Meier v. Olofsson is a lot closer for me. I'd go Olofsson due to the role he plays but Meier could surpass.

I choose Suzuki because the other 3 are completely dependent on line mates. Suzuki, in my opinion, is the guy others will be dependent on.
12 teams. Keep 9 any position.
7 prospects. D scoring 3.75 for goal, 2.75 for assist. Forwards 3.5 for goal, 2.5 for assist. 0.5 for hits and blocks. Goalie scoring -1.5 GA, 0.3 for save, 2 points for win and extra 2 for shutout.

I would seriously consider Meier as his schedule typically allows you to get many more games out of him. Players on San Jose, Anahiem and Detroit play alot of off nights. So you are not forced to bench players on the Tuesday / Thursday / Saturday nights when everyone is playing. I look to build a team that plays onthe off nights as it can get you 10% more games played in a week which provides an interesting advantage. I will add that not sure how the schedule will work this year, but this does apply to typical years when hockey starts now.

for points only i think Suzuki has a highest upside...but Meier maybe close. In multicat leagues its Meier by wide margin.

For the center spot, I want Suzuki. I trust him more than Strome.

For the winger, it's tougher. Both have talent, and both have some question marks on deployment or team talent. Consider this point as well, as it's excellent and often overlooked if you have daily moves:
