    Default Trading Dahlin

When asked about it I initially said no and then offfhandedly through out that Id consider something like Marchand, Deangelo and one more smaller upgrade somewhere else. He responded that hed probably consider something like that and made the offer with a 3rd round prospect draft (9 teams- nhl entry only)- I dont think thats the upgrade Id want but he has Beauvillier, Mantha and were in round 21 of our inaugural draft.

    Salary cap is 111 500 000.

Skater cats are 1 point categories- goals assists points powerplay points SOGS and half point categories for pim hit and blocks.

Hes also got Kubalik and Talbot that I like- lol!

If I could get for example:

    Dahlin, late pick, late pick

    for

Marchand, Deangelo, Mantha OR Kubalik- would you do it??

EDIT: Im short centers but hes only got Petterson and Point- likely kills the deal and Stamkos. Id love stammer but I dont hink I could get Marchand Deangelo and Stammer.

That being said Im more than happy to just keep Dahlin too- lol!

I need help with this one fellas!!!

I'd be terrified he accepts too.

If I read your signature correct, you need to drop two players. And you are offering a cost-controlled stud for three players. And with Klefbom out maybe all year, Ghost a huge question mark...I'm not sure why you want to downgrade your defense?

Thats a different league- were drafting this team- iLL POST...

    C- Tavares, ROR
    LW- Hoobs, Hall, Evander, Vrana
    RW- AS, Scenn, Wilson, Gallagher
    D- Hedman, Theodore, AP, Dahlin
    G- Shesty, Lehner
    Bn- NRobertson, Denisenko, Romanov

Theodore weas on the table for DeAngelo and Mantha if I wanted a go that route.

I asked about AP- but it was a no go.

My thoughts curently- DeAngelo probably just as good (better?) iver a onbe year timeline. Adding Marchand and Mantha I think makes me the team to beat the way I drafted and with our cats. Im leaning towards yes. Hes leaning towards not including Mantha.

I took the Dahlin deal down while I got feedback....

Marchand's got another two years max for keeper production, are you sure you want to trade a future superstar for a short-term asset? And I like DeAngelo but he's had only one good year and his shooting percentage was abnormally high (see Dobber's Goldipucks article on him from a few days ago). I like your enthusiasm for trades (and I wish my leagues traded more) but I think this would set you back long-term.

    New offer!

Leaning towards no still but will give points for its boldness :P

    DeAngelo + Stamkos + McMichael

Stamkos actually becomes difficult to rosetr although an upgrade at C would help a lot as my C become Stamkos, Tavares, RoR and Kadri with Hertl on the farm where I can trade him for more futures. McMichael is a free keep too.

Its getting harder to say no here. In fact I might say yes. DeAngelo should be a reasonable facsimile of Fahlin to start no? i love me some Dahlin but he shot like 1.3 per game last year and generational dman doesnt always mean generational scorer right? Am I nuts??

I send my 47 and 48 (last two picks) his way to balance out the assets. Our draft mandates that so that veryone ends up with 28 man pro team and 20 man farm team when were done.

I can't keep up with any of this. If you traded Dahlin in a cap league you probably F'd up.

If the 47,48 confuses the issue just ignore them- theyre inconsequential. Were at pick 30 or so and Im debating betweren weegar and bennett- lmfao! Pick 48 will be a high risk/low yield prospect.

DeAngelo and Stamkos and McMichael for Dahlin.

Thats the whole deal. Would you do that?

I think its a win- lol!
