Default F. Hronek next season does he keep progressing?

What kind of numbers can we see out of Hronek next season. He put up decent numbers on a brutal wings team last season. +/- does not count which helps.

As long as Detroit doesn’t sign someone like Barrie or Krug, I think he should continue to have top PP minutes. Even on a bad team, I think he should have a 40 point floor from here on out. Potential for 50 down the road as the young talent around him matures. Though I’m also a Hronek owner, so I could be biased. Haha
12 teams. Keep 9 any position.
7 prospects. D scoring 3.75 for goal, 2.75 for assist. Forwards 3.5 for goal, 2.5 for assist. 0.5 for hits and blocks. Goalie scoring -1.5 GA, 0.3 for save, 2 points for win and extra 2 for shutout.

    Pre Draft

F: Keller, Zegras, Suzuki, Caufield, Cozens

    D: Drysdale, Guhle, Perunovich

I like him a lot to get better, and I think he can keep PP1 if they don't bring in an offensive minded PP specialist. He's pretty well rounded and looks like a top pair D with PP skills to me.

I am a Hronek owner too.
However I believe we see a nice increase into the mid 40's this coming season.
The only real hold back is if they sign Krug for too much money and more than 4 yrs.
Barrie would slow it down some this season but he would quickly pass Barrie and be the #1 PP dman again.

I also don't believe that Hronek gets enough credit for his defensive game, he is still young and learning. He had 74 blocked shots and 105 hits. In a full season and more experience I think we could maybe see 115 blocks and close on 150-160 hits.

I like the assessment above from Emu about him being a Heiskanen lite.
Also he is currently on loan with HK Hradec Karlove of the Czech league. He's scored 2 goals and 4 assists thru 5 games.

I love Hronek... But all talk points to them being in on Krug.

I hope not. I'd prefer them to sign a more defensive guy, leaving the juicy power play available to Hronek.

With no plus minus, Hronek is great and probably doesn't get the respect he deserves.

I agree, Hronek is the guy next season since Det didn't bring anyone in...(who knows maybe they throw 10mil a year at Pietrangelo lol).
Long-term, I would be worried about Seider, if he doesn't play this year, definitely next year, he's going to be good, real good. Best case scenario for Hronek at that point is it ends up as a Pietrangelo/Shattenkirk type deal, Hronek gets the easy pp1 assignments and Seider plays more minutes, but they are the hard minutes.
Otherwise could definitely see Seider supplanting Hronek for that pp1 spot in a couple of years.

I agree, Seider could very well be the Wings best D man soon. However, I don’t see Seider having the offensive upside that Hronek does. Seider could actually end up being perfect for Hronek’s fantasy value. Seider’s already a very good defensive player. I see him being the shut down guy who can chip in offensively at times. This wil free up Hronek to be counted on to carry the offensive load.
